Gaming can be an expensive hobby but one of the advantages of PC gaming over console gaming is that you can improve piece by piece overtime to spread out the spending. With that being said let’s look at today’s daily deals to see what we can get our hands on.
Acer Predator Z35 – £630
I haven’t gone made I swear. You may be wondering why I have started with something that is so very expensive. I’ll tell you why, because the Acer Predator is the king of gaming monitors at the moment. The Z35 may not have a 4K resolution like its bigger brother, the X34A but comes in almost £300 cheaper. It also boasts a refresh rate up to 200HZ, which is double what the more expensive X34A has. If you’re not sure what this means, the screen changes the picture that it’s displaying twice as fast meaning that there is less motion blur while gaming.
VicTop Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – £33
Never user a mechanical keyboard? Not sure if they’re for you? Then this is the perfect opportunity to try one and for only £33. It comes with Cherry MX Blue switches which may not be the most popular among gamers on a professional level, they do produce a very satisfying sound. They are sometimes used in gaming keyboards, like the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate, but most of the time companies tend to make keyboards with brown or red switches. However, at the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference.
Logitech G403 Wired Gaming Mouse – £48
In my opinion Logitech are always consistently good when it comes to computer peripherals. They usually balance performance and budget well by creating high spec components which are cheaper than anything from Razer but they rarely get the ‘cool points’ that Razer do. Don’t let that put you off though because the Logitech G403 is a beast. It’s a mouse that I use on my personal gaming rig. It boasts 12,000 dpi which I can’t find anything cheaper with a higher dpi and for the colour matchers out there it has a 16.8 million wide colour palette to feed your appetite. Brilliant.
And for the unhinged among us or the people with more money than sense…
MSI GT73VR 6RE – £2,850
Don’t want to build your own desktop? Want to take gaming on the road with you? Well now you can play Solitaire with a solid 15,000 frames per second with this beast of a laptop. It has, wait for it… 2 GTX 1070 GRAPHICS CARDS!!! The specs for this machine are kind of insane; it has an i7 6820HK processor, 32GB RAM, 2 hard drives!! (a 512 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD, where did they even find the space) and as I previously stated 2 Geforce GTX 1070 graphics cards. Insane. I really need to win the lottery. Oh and in all the hysteria surrounding fitting two 1070’s into a laptop I forgot to mention that its 17.3″ display has a 4K resolution. Madness.
