Crash Bandicoot returns in this revamped version of the original games, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Strangely, it isn’t being remade by Naughty Dog who made the original game but I guess they have enough on with the new Uncharted and The Last Of Us II. Instead it’s being made by Vicarious Visions.
Crash Bandicoot Reborn
From all accounts it is an exact carbon copy of Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2 Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot Warped. Obviously it will have massively updated textures and will be ran by much more powerful consoles on an engine that is probably a thousand times superior than the original games. Usually, I wouldn’t be that interested in remakes but I am really looking forward to this game being released. Crash Bandicoot was a bigger part of my childhood than Thomas the Tank Engine or The Simpsons so I can’t wait to play as the little red dude again.
I am a little bit surprised that they aren’t also remaking Crash Team Racing (I wish they would) as that is the only other game in the Crash Bandicoot series which Naughty Dog developed. Although I guess that may be in the pipeline.
Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy is out on June 30 for the PlayStation 4.
